Gads I remember that game. I hate Jimmy Mac. I laughed my azz off until I saw the replay and how close McMahon came to getting his neck broken.

Ok, let's say this is as big a deal as you are making it out to be (which I don't think it is). If he was going to complain, he would have done it last year. He had more reason to. Team was losing, running game was missing till the end. Quarterback threw a ton of turnovers. But, OK, this is a big deal....................guess what........Parcells benches him or deactivates him and uses Peerless Price...............Problem solved.
I didn't say he was a TOP NFL receiver. I said show me another receiver willing to stay in the backfield and pick up the blitz on a regular basis.
The Raiders aren't thugs? How many penalties do the get in a game? Which franchise leads the NFL for most penalties in history?

Well just have to wait and see. he was benched in Tampa bay and evetually released for being a dog.....a no show on the field on Sunday and in the locker room
All receivers in the nfl are called on to block. based on memory, not many have been deactivated for dogging it.
This is a tell as to the character of the player. If any wide receiver was called on to do the same and refused...they would be gone or deactiviated plain and simple.
For the reord Hines Ward has been touted as one of the best all-time blocking receivers. Look to teams with good running games...such as San Diego and you will find some of the BEST blocking receivers.
I'm sure you caught Keyshawn calliing ex-teammate Barber an "Uncle Tom" last year ...and his statements against Wayne Chrebet and Pam Oliver . he was too focused on the past last year mouthing off......and wanting to beat Pam Oliver's butt. is this the type of player you admire?
Why is it he likes to flap his gums at those that are samller..and women? I guess the Dallas groundskeepers best stay clear.
If Keyshawn played for a team I follow...he would still be a dog in my book.
MeShawn has no class. his antics this pat Sunday was predictable sooner or later. say it was a spur of the moment thing.?..doubtful based on his comments in the locker room after the game. It may pass as not a big deal. MeShawn sure made it out to be in the locker room.
It's not over," Johnson insisted straight-faced in the Dallas locker room. "(Bleep) Drew."

Actually, the Pam Oliver story regarding MesShawn stems from her sideline report that he was screaming at a coach on the sidelines...I think it was Payton or Payton. The cameras missed it but she reported it. That is why MeShawn told SI.com last year he wanted to spank her butt....but he did not use the word butt.
So NO, Sunday's incident was not the first for MeShawn as a Cowboy. Oliver did report that the coach did not argue back ( I guess he had too much class) and MeShawn eventually walked off. Of couse, perhaps Oliver just made the entrie story up.

Look at the penalties that the Raiders get called for. Ticky tac BS from officials and pure stupidity on the Raiders part. I don't see the leg wips and knee hunting the Cowboys perfected under Johnson.

Leg whips and chop/crack back blocks were profected by the 49er's in their glory years.

Looks like the Vikings are in trouble. Fred Smoot organized a cruise with 16 other players. SOunds like they could be in some trouble based on what happened.

The Raiders still get a lot of calls based on reputation rather than reality. I can't believe Denver and KC aren't on that list.

Actaully, the Lions have a shot at the nfc north. That division is wide open..a three team race excluding the Viqueens.
At least the Lions are competitive...the Viqueens are doomed and could very well be the worse team in the nfl. The cruise incident will only add to the distraction off the field. Tice may not make it past mid-season. Do the Vikings play Houston? Would make a graet toilet bowl game.
Looks like 7-9 or 8-8 will win the division.

There aren't many recievers that would even entertain this, muchless do it with the success he did. The verbal altercation I believe was brought on by the injury he sustained on that play (bruiseed sternum). I am not worrying about him regaining his old mouthiness. He knows Parcells won't put up with it.
Wide receiver number 12 (name escapes me) for Atlanta yesterday lined up NUMEROUS times in the backfiled. Just ONE example. Tough blocker ecpecially on running plays...blocking bigger players..and successful as Atlanta leads the league in rushing.

Yes, a big win. Whenever you beat a division opponent is is a big voctory. The dvision certainly looks tougher than I thought as the Deadskins actually look like the Redskins of old. ..giants and Dallas look improved over last year. Looks like Philly is suffering from the TO "flu" as these things usually continue on...although they may not manifiest as continuing sideline "arguments"
Could be the most interesting race in the nfc this season....although the nfc south will probably go down to the last week too.
interesting game on tonight.....the Indy defense will certainly be put to the test tonight. if they hold the Rams to 10 points or less that would be an accomplishment.
Indy certainly looks like the best team in the nfl right now. With the offensive weapons they have...and only giving up about 6 poinbts a game, they appear to be well on their way to the Super Bowl...although it is early.
