How do i lower my "salinity" or "specific gravity"

Hi i measured my salinity with a hydrometer and it says its at 36 and the specific gravity is at 1.027 which is barely to high for my 29 gal biocube. so I was wondering how do I lower this? thanks

Add some unsalted RO water

Um this might sound REALLY stupid, but what is RO water?

A Salinity of 36ppt is fine, it is definately not too high.
RO water is water that has been filtered using reverse osmosis.

I have the same problem; I just added the unsalted water now I have water all over my floor. Did I do something wrong?

well you added 2 much water! take some s.w. out and then put the unsalted one in!
