Hmmm. My wife leaning over my shoulder, and I quote:
"You don't have to worry about it, its easy. If you feed it, take care of it, and are really nice to it and it doesn't even show itself the next day, you have a male."
You can't make these things up.
Sigh.

If you have 2 or more healthy cleaner shrimp they will lay eggs every 4 - 6 weeks like clockwork (all of them). The eggs will hatch in a few weeks a couple hours after lights out and the larvae will float around until something eats them, fish, coral, the parents, whatever, or they go through a powerhead. This usually takes about an hour or two.
