How early is too early for Taco Bell?

Speaking of Taco Bell, my son is at work with me today. He says he wants Taco Bell for lunch because he saw a commercial on TV last night about a "cheesy bacon potato burito". We go to the drive thru and the guy says they no longer have them, discontiued. I say "you had the freakin' commercial on TV last night advertising it as being a new item". So I argue for a couple minutes, and then get something else that neither of us liked, and then on the way back to work my son says..."I just remembered that the show I was watching last night was on the DVR"....something he recorded probably a year ago.
The kid at the drive thru probably thought I was a moron...

....That's like going to Sub way ...everytime they would advertise a new sandwich, and I would go there to try one...they would be out of the ingredients....
...you would think if they are advertising a NEW sandwich, they would have bought extra stuff...duhhhh

I worked at a McD's many moons ago and there is probably some truth to her statement. I never seen anyone spit but I did witness so other things. And for the record it would make Taco Bells food taste better. Just sayin'

You can have FUN pretending to eat in the bathroom at a resturant...spitting in peoples food isn't fun nor a part of growing up...It shows a person has no charactor, and should be made to feel ashamed. They should seek a job where they are not serving food.
If you don't like the job...leave and go find another, where they don't have evening shift...

Let me understand this...not long ago you were oh so happy...you had a job!!! We all wished yo well and congratulations were in order. Now you are angry because you actually have to work????
On top of it you spit in peoples food and shake your filth from your hair into what they eat for fun...What is wrong with you?
Why don't you just quit, so someone more worthy who needs a job can come in and work that shift you hate so much! What a disgusting thing to do for FUN..

Couldn't agree more!!

I remember the threads about how nervous you were for the interview and how excited you were to get the job. You recently posted about how good you are at the job. And these disgusting things that you do for fun... it's pretty clear that you are far too immature to be working anywhere.

AGREED!

) where is Alix explaining it was a joke???? I eat at Taco Bell (hopefully not hers) and I really think she meant it.
If it is a joke, I retract my claws...and just scold her for freaking me out.

That's the point...we don't really know anyone here...I don't talk to anyone off the site unless it a very short PM message. How am I supposed to know if she really is a pig person who spits in food???

I will lighten up when she says it was just a bad joke. She hasn't denyed anything yet. She does have some friends (you and Pez) who insist she must be kidding....Nothing from Alix.
Kids these days

christ people i just woke up. no i have never done anything gross to the food. i love my job and am very good at it. in october i will become a shift trainer, which comes with a pay raise. i am also studying to become a shift manager, and ive worked there for 6 months. they obviously have a little confidence in me.
i just tend to not like my job as much at 4am. i think thats understandable.
thanks salt, pez, and t316... you guys are pals. i promise your next tbell meal will be dandruff free, my treat.

oh crimany. i get no respect.

I was going to scold you for freaking me out..WHEW...but I am sooo relieved. You have a weird twisted sense of humor....never leave a "joke" hanging and go to bed....always add the silly JK at the end for the sake of us Taco Bell eaters, who are too old to think spit is funny.
Oh and buy the way..since it was a joke...
