How long before female

If you have 2 clownfish in the tank, how long will it take for the bigger one to turn female?
I have 2 maroons in my tank, and at first the big one was picking on the small one, but now they are pretty cool. Just wanted to know, when they might start to pair up. :notsure:

She's probably already there. It varies a LOT depending on the species but Maroons change early in life.

well, i just put the smaller one in the tank, on tuesday... the bigger one still kind of picks on the little one a little bit, but they are hanging out more and more everytime i check them out.
