I have searched the light up and down and I don't think it's possible to turn only the blue lights on. It pretty much has one switch....on and off.....lol
What would you suggest? Do we need to add some other type of lighting that we can cut on earlier than this bright light?

I just looked up your light, and you actually should have 2 blue bulbs and 2 white bulbs....I do not see where it lists 2 switches either....so you have to run them together....As far as moonlights go...look up blue led lights....

Yes it had 2 whites and 2 blues, but I switched one of my whites for a blue. I like the blue look more. My LFS has blue LED lights they were trying to sell me but I havent had time to research them. Would those blue lights work for my moon lights. LFS said the blue LED's will help coral grow, not sure if they are moonlights, or can be used for moonlight.

W/O knowing exactly what your lfs is talking about I have no clue
The blue lights in your main lights are the actinics...actinics help coralline grow, and I honestly do not know what else...You might need to ask someone if you have enough "white" light though...IDK that either
I have one of these
Attachment 224106
On my 54g....I love it..for your tank you would probably want 2...they are around $30....
They also sell strip led moonlights....

That a moonlight? If so where I can buy them at? How do they connect to your tank? If I dont have enough white light ill buy another 1 or 2 bulb strip T5HO and hook it up. Ill also find out the brand name of the LED lights and let you take a look at them and see what you think they could be used for.

They connect 2 ways...one by a suction cup (that's how I have mine cause it's a bowfront) or (depending on your light) it slides into your light track

Alrighty. Ill look into them and see if the LED is a moonlight or not. You cant see moonlights over reg tank lights can u? Like if you cut your moonlights off you cant tell a difference when they are off when the tank lights are on.

You lost me on that question

My led blue moonlights...light the tank enough so I can see in the whole tank.
Even the one in the above post lights up my 54g so I can see everything.
If you turn your moonlights off...it will be dark
If you run them when you run your daylights
...why would you?
get timers

I was j/w bc my LFS have them hooked up and they show you how much these LED lights put out. When they cut the LED lights off you can tell. Less light in the tank.

OK, I am thinking they are not moonlights then.
