lemme share about my co-workers.
95% of them are unbelievably stupid. as a matter of fact, i sometimes feel insulted that these people are working under the same roof as me. no, i change that. i ALWAYS feel insulted that these people are under the same roof as me.
what's worse are the egos that float around. let's get this straight folks....you live in california and are in the

business so OF COURSE you're going to make good money. doesn't mean yer special. nowadays a chimpanzee can be a loan officer so QUIT bragging about your deals and QUIT leasing cars you can't afford and QUIT bragging about the cars that you leased yet can't afford.
also- everyone has this irritating cough in here. so if they're not babbling about something stupid then they're coughing stupid phlem.
i think God is doing this to them on purpose. He figures that since all that comes outta their mouth is crap anywayz, might as well give em some more.
anyone else have to put up with co-workers who's IQs are somewhere in between the levels of an earthworm and belly button lint?

they don't belong here. on a sales floor, old constitutes anyone over the age of 40. leave please!
all they do is gripe about the good ol days when they made more money. then they get all sullen around me because when they were my age, i was still a fetus. get over it you gerkers!!!
ALLL the old people drink decaf. did i ever mention how much i hate people who are in sales, yet drink decaf? oh i haven't? oh....well i hate people who are in sales and drink decaf.
why is decaf even ON this floor??? the only purpose of decaf is for 12-step meetings. that way people don't get a buzz and start rambling too much about their problems. otherwise, the sole creation of decaf is utterly useless and, if these windbags can drink decaf, then i should have every right to sip patron at the office.
lastly, they always call their clients by "sir".
QUIT IT!! how old and wise do you have to be to realize that your clients will interpret that as weakness! how long have you been IN this business, or ANY business for that matter. these are the same people that are babbling the same, "well sir i'm really sorry....but.....but....maybe i can lower my fees."

I'm sure your coworkers feel you are an ideal employee who is easy to get along with. Have they nominated you to be the new supervisor yet?
I can't imagine why the every coffee company continues to make such an obviously worthless product (at least to your eyes). I also can't imagine why people who are over 40 even continue to exist.

I don't have stupid coworkers anymore, because I work in an awesome lfs :happy:
But I have definitely worked with some REAL WINNERS in my days. Let's see.... Best Buy. Who gets hired at Best Buy? Well, me, but that's besides the point. Brutally retarded, overly giddy egomaniacs. That's who, and that's why I quit, because I am the exact antithesis. That was the worst work experience of my life. Never, never, never will I work in a large store like that EVER again.
But, I hate most people in general. I can only tolerate the ones with ATLEAST a spark of intellect. I have found that most people that I meet cannot hold an intelligent conversation to save their lives.
And now, I'm in college at Cincinnati State, which is like a community college... you know 2 year degrees, etc. I'm doing web design, and I have to take the most LAMEST of all classes. Example: Business Algebra. Okay, I took calculus in high school, and now I'm taking business algebra. It's cool, because it's basically like PRE ALGEBRA in middle school. However, the majority of the class doesn't know how to add fractions.
THERE ARE STUPID PEOPLE EVERYWHERE at Cincinnati State. More stupid people than I could ever imagine. Take all of the ignorant people that you know, multiply that by 1000 and you have Cincinnati State.

I kind of miss being challenged.

I no longer have co-workers, I have chosen to drop out of society, I drive a mid 90's 300Z that is paid for, Instead of living by myself I share a house with three roomates, I have an old surfboard, and not exactly what you would call anything "bling" But I have no money worries, I don't have to work, I can go surfing anyday of the week, and my tank is pretty well hooked up. I imagine I will go back to work someday, maybe after i get my masters.....so no I have no annoying co-workers....I used to, but I realized for the most part they all meant well....
Purity, I agree don't call anyone sir...Maybe MR. or Ms. ____fill in last name, until they tell you to call them by their first. Refferring to somebodey as sir, or Ma'am simply implies that you are not an equal, and if your going to be dealing with my money you had better be on a level playing field as me...Just IMO.

I work for a major university in Texas. You cannot possibly imagine the egos around this place. PhDs are very egotistical! The only people that deserve to be called "doctor" are MDs, not someone who has a PhD in exercise science....no matter how you look at it, you are a coach!

no brad. our egos are worse. anyone in cali will agree that it's just ridicolous out here. we're taking these kids right outta high school and they're making $15,000/month right away! combine that with the most lenient luxury car lease programs, the nightlife, and the amounts of coke that floats around.....
just a couple nights ago i saw a co-worker introduce himself LAST NAME FIRST to a girl at happy hour. within less than 30 seconds he's already explained to her that his YTD is at $65,000. i sooooo wanted to see her punch him.
