How many tangs in a 110 gal reef?

This is a list of what I have in my 110 gal as of fish, some of you will think I'm crazy. I have 1 Naso, 1 Purple, 2 Hippos, 1 Convick, 2 Baganii Cardinals, and 1 Algea Blennie. I had a yellow tang but he got black ich and died. How many tangs can you keep in a tank?

Most will tell you you are over the limit now. I'd just watch and see how you do with what you have. How long have they all been together? Are they young? Some of those are going to grow rather large, and that's going to create some tight quarters.

Are you expecting them to stay that way? All of the Tanks you mentioned will eventually exceed 8" unless they die first. The Naso will get even larger possibly twice that size.
Once they mature they will not tolerate cramped conditions and will either become stressed and die or aggressive and kill.

BAng guy is right, they're gonna need new homes eventually. I have a purple in my office 55 that has grown alittle too large and is coming home to the 210. Over the past few months he has become much more aggressive than he used to be.

I'm waiting for my 180 gal fresh water fish to die the only problem they are Oscars. It's going to take for ever for them to die. I've had them for 3 years already. The wife won't let me get rid of them because she attached to them. All five of them are over 12" long and the Pacu is about 20" long.

We did the same thing, waited for a tiger oscar to go...to use the tank. We're still waiting. He's 9.
Sheesh.
PS: Anyone want to adopt a 9 year old tiger oscar?
