I already have them for awhile now, and they seem to be allright...
BTW, they are NOT alone.. they are with a Coral beauty, a Foxface Rabbitfish & a Watcher goby...

I would not advertise that stock list here. Irresponsible if you ask me.

This stocking list is similar to what we have in the tank I maintain for a public zoo. It's a 560 gallon tank that's 12 feet long and the Tangs are actually slightly crowded.
Bang, what zoo? I'm from up there, parents still live there, and would love to see your handiwork.

Those are all fish that need lots of room to swim and large territories.
I have a 3 year old Yellow tang in my 72 bf. He's been happy and healthy since i've had him.
One day though he will outgrow my 72. But I plan on upgrading to a much larger tank in the future.
In a 90, I would say none of those and get a yellow, purple or kole. If you get a 125, then 1 of those you listed is probably o.k.

The Blue Hippo has the least tank size requirement of the Tangs you listed in my opinion. I still think it would need a 6 foot tank at MINIMUM.

I have a friend that has a blue hippo, a sailfin (+ other additional fishes) in a custom 3x3 cube...
And they have been there for years...

Having a 1 foot long fish on a 10 gal (20 inch long)... that is... (AND I KNOW someone who does!!!)...
... But those are small, & BTW, the local FS suggested me (that BTW is a marine biologist) my setup including my fish.

You seriously need to fire that LFS

His only recommendation is to get you to spend your money at his store, not the well being of your fish. It doesn't matter what his occupation is, he clearly doesn't care about anything else than collecting your money. If you got that recommendation from someone who is not going to gain anything from it, then I'd listen.

I am truly happy for your friend, I hope it works out just as well for the next 50-60 year as well.
A few years ago some guy jumped off Niagara falls with no protection. He didn't even get a scratch and swam to shore below the Falls.
So, do you think this is a safe thing to do? I mean, it worked out just fine right? Should I start recommending that people jump off Niagara Falls?
