well looking at my rock i have a few feather dusters (bright red fins) and i have one stuck to my snail somehow (white feathers)
anything special i need to get for these guys ?
It's not terribly difficult to grow. DTs is an excellent live phyto. As an alternative cryopaste will also work very well for dusters.
Avoid any phytoplankton that doesn't need to be refrigerated...

Floating around waiting to be captured buy a filter feeder. Direct feeding doesn't work all that well for these.
