How to get those damsels OUT

I have two damsels and they are a pain, they were cute when juvis but now they are ugly and aggressive, i can't catch them with a net because they quickly go into the rocks, is there any methods that i can use to get rid of them?

you need a fish trap. it's a clear cylinder that you set into your dt and the damsels will inevitabally swim into and will not be able to get out. hard to explain in words but look it up. the dr.'s sell these things. it worked like a charm for me to get 6 damsels out of my old reef setup, but i had a coral beauty that was able to swim in and out at will. it was pretty weird.

I wanted my stupid sgt major out sooo bad..took me weeks.
yesterday i finally got him..He was kinda larger so i had to use a 2liter bottle.
Cut the neck off so the hole would be just big enough for the damsel to go in....then cut about 2-3" down on the bottle and then invert that inside the bottle.
I also put slits in the bottle to help it smell the food better.
Then i put a cube of cyclopezee in the bottle..my damsel goes nuts for it..after about 10min or so he finally swam into the hole..I stuck my net infront of the hole and he was stuck..now its all gone

If that doesn't work then file the barb off of a number 20 fly fishing hook and attach it to some thread. The hook is small enough to bait with a peice of mysis. It worked like a charm for me, and without the barb there is no major injury to the fish, the 2 that i caught this way are living it up in a friends tanks right now

gun, u can get them at ur LFS for pretty cheap. i got mine for $39. if u cant get a clear shot at it because of rock work, using a fly fishing rod should do the trick.

Heres a trick. What kind of lights do u have? With the damsel I got awhile ago I wanted to get rid of them I found out that Turning on my 254w lights on from a pitch black room will stun the fish and send them into shock, temporarly lol. Then u can scoup them right up in the net.

i had the same problem, we found a fish trap (dont believe at this website) that was clear and had a "swinging" door. you could tie fishin wire to it and hang the wire outside the tank. then dont feed your fish for a day or so (ours took one day with no food) and watch carefully. we put it in and gave up,then they got use to it so it took us two times to chance the devils within 5 minutes of each other
