Buy the video "fifty nuts", it's great.
Saltfisher check out sportbiketracktime.com If we go down there I'll hit you up. Only thing you need is a full leather suit, gauntlet gloves, good tires, and riding boots. The leather suit can be a ziptogether at the waist but you have to ride novice group. You'll want to ride novice group anyway though.

You can buy race tires there too, they're endorsed by Michelin, they sell them pretty cheap, I got a set of pilot race tires for 240.

hopefully around christmas time i can buy another bike. although i am frightened of getting that low on the street and i don't know of any tracks in S. FLA

You'd be crazy to try to get that low on the average street. Highside waiting to happen.
