As said, it can take snails a few days to actually start moving in the tank. My last order from SWF.com the snails were roaming in the bag they came in and were all over the tank right after acclimation, yours just need more time.

bb's arent the nastier of the whelks, but will eat whatever they can find. I do have 2 of them though (originally had 4, but i think acclimation claimed 1 and not sure on the other, but 2 of my hermits are sportin racing stripes...). just a warning though :) most people don't realize they are whelks

Well I've had bunblebees for a while now and have never had a known problem out of them.
By the way, how are the "dead" snails?
