no we don't have to move, jenny's parents own the house and her dad put in notice to quit his job as a hospice chaplain (they changed the rules so basically he comes in just to give last rights instead of comforting the familly and getting to know the person before they die and he doesn't like that) but he is looking into a job with the city that he is interested in, the appraisal was just to get a lower payment...tobin

That's great that you can do all that type stuff. My son-in-law is like that, too. Glad you're not feeling too bad this time around. And a high five to Jenny for the upkeep. My 17 year old daughter took over for me when I was just in the hospital for that week. My husband doesn't have a clue and isn't the least interested. Didn't have her do a water change or anything like that though, she just kept up on the feeding and making sure that the water temp stayed cool, but I still would have been stressing if she hadn't done that so I'm grateful.

i guessing i was around 5 years old when my dad put a hammer in my hand for the first time we turned the garage into a bedroom, then we built a 2.5 car garage in the backyard when i was 9, after that we did a house extension similar to what we have planned i was twelve then when older i learned how to do cabinets 9 years of that and did 2 years as a foundation pourer and ground up construction and jenny loves getting involved too she does plumbing and rough carpentry and paints when healthy we are a well oiled machine and we love to do it...tobin

I'm jealous. My grandfather and his brother built a house for their parents and my grandfather went on to make beautiful furniture. I think it's something you either have or have not the skills to do, cuz my husband can not do wood, motors and growing things yes, just don't give him a hammer.....lol!

we enjoy it and work real well together, growing things i would say is not a strong point for me - i can grow dirt very vey well
,he isnt so bad at it i guess. i wish i could build furniture, i'm great with tools but i'm terrible at math so i'll leave the furniture to the professionals ,

Hey Tobin and Jenny,
Neat thing happened this week. We didn't go to church last Wed. because we were out of town, but when I open the S.S. room Sun. morning there's your name at the top of the whiteboard for prayer request and blessings. Seems like the kids think that if you are important enough for me to put on there evey week that it's important to them as well.

And, when the young lady cleaning the board off for Sun. morning finished she wrote your name in large letters at the top and turned and asked how you were doing.

WOW! Just confirms that GOD is in this prayer warrior thing and he is adding to his troops on behalf of you

GOD BLESS and have great week!
