just hooked up the wavemaker pro along with the hydor evolution pumps. pretty happy with the setup and water movements.

So NYCBOB, the pumps are controllable? Also do they have the regular 2 prong plug? All this rolls up into can I control them with my reefkeeper?

hooked it up to the redsea wavemaker. yes, they come in regular 2 prong plug. fully controllable. so far, i like them.

Very cool. I will most likely purchase some. I love my K4s but when I turn them on and off they rattle like crazy.
 
How many and what size Evos would you recommend for a 75-gal? I think I might get that Red Sea Wavemaker at some point too.

get the 1400 model if use as a wavemaking device. i hv the 1400 and 1050 model running on the redsea wavemaker in a 72.

i just got 2 emails from hydor along with pics. very impressed with the fast response. they said if the bushing is off, it could make the evo spin backward. the bushing is the little circle thing. i tried the fix, and it worked.

YAYYYYY...I hate to spend money on something that does not work right

This would be my next question....HOW and WHY did the bushing slip?.....is this a common thing? Will you continually have to fix this???
