EEEK! :scared: !!!
Today when i got home from school i looked in my refugium and saw the normals creatures (Pods, cucumber, stars, macros, snails, blah!) Everyday i look into my over flow because i have CC in there and there are many more creatures in there (pods, worms, stars, etc) but on the glass where dozens of Hydroid Jellyfish, I dont really know alot about Hydroid Jellyfish, should i get rid of them? or should i keep them? They arnt in my main tank or my refugium, to what i can see, just in my overlfow.
Refugium has been set up for about 3 weeks.

yep they look like jellyfish, there pretty cool, very small though. I feed my fish/corals baby brine shrimp, that i hatched from eggs, and i heard thats what causes Hydroid jellyfish.

More than likely they will disapear on their own.
But pull them out if you can. Ha! good luck.

what would happen if he didn't pull them out and they didn't disappear on their own? i've never heard of that happening before. could they get big enough to do some damage?

I noticed those on the glass on my tank yesterday. Didn't know what they were. They look like snowflakes.

I found a little info on them. They eat pods... I wonder if knocking them off the glass with my mag-float will kill them. Here is another picture

they are very small, and if you would want to have a jelly fish tank it has to be species only, and it cant have any powerheads of skimmers or anything, It would have to be an in-tank tank. If there is a powerhead of something, they can squeze them self into the hole and get chopped up.

just suck em up with a baster the then squirt the baster into a fine mesh net to catch the fella without wasting the tank water, thats what I do to remove my clear flatworms when I see them on my tank glass

New Noob....how is your overflow designed? There's no room to even use a turkey baster to suck 'em out?
