That movie I am Legend is a real let down. I rented it yesterday and watched it. I expected alot more action and zombie like people. The story line was not put together very well, plus there should have been more of a build up of how the virus was created and how it became airborne. I expected more from a Will Smith movie. He needs to stick to family movies (drama and comedy)

This is pretty much my opinion of this movie. It was pretty good, but, fell a tad flat in the end. Didn't know about an alternative ending. Let us know if its an improvement. Obviously, when you have to come up with an alternative ending, its going to likely be bad. That explains the ending we got in theaters.
As he said, above...that's the alternate ending, which I just saw today and thought was much better. I was kinda pissed when Will Smith killed himself in the end...that's why I didn't like it.

Other ending is when that big evil person is breaking that glass he stops and draws a butterfly on the glass. The moster that will smith had cured and was in his lab had a butterfly on her neck or somewhere. So the evil monster was just saying he wanted her back cuz that was his girlfriend or whatever. that other girl opens the door and will smith pushes her out to the infected girl back out there to the moster and the big bad infected guy makes all the others leave will smith alone. He gives the infected one a shot to turn her back to being infected and the big bad infected guy starts kissin her and rubbin their heads together and they leave. And will smith and that other chick n little kid leave and go to the village with the normal people. THE END

Saw it last night.
'Normal' ending sucked.
'Alternative' ending doesn't sound much better.
The only thing that was cool to me was seeing the 30 second snippets of places around NY (Washington Park, South St. Seaport, Times Square) that they'd actually shut down, made to look like they did in the movie, and filmed.

I thought it was an excelant movie . For gods sakes if the zombies dont spray blood every where its not a good movie ?I thought the idea of inteligant zombies was a new twist . Instead of the same old mindlesss eating machines . I thought it was awesome the way the flashbacks where put into place . The movies not about "THE VIRUS" Its about being the last person on earth and the strugle to survive not only against the "zombies" but against your own mind . The original ending was a bit of a let down but that was just because the rest of the movie was great . But the alternate ending was far better in my opinion . Either way it was a good show .

Well where as ford was more than willing to provide a GT500 and a few other cars for him to drive , Plus pay the movie studio a healthy chunk of advertisement change . I can see why he would be driving such a "boat" .

Yea, no doubt, like GM in the Matrix series and The Island, but come on, GM let out it's Cadillac Cien in the Island. Ford has plenty of much cooler cars then that pos, the GR-1 concept, or heck the Ford GT.

yea! i saw it yesterday, idk what everyone is sayin about it being terrible and the ending sucks. I really liked it. The movie was never about him surviving, it was about him being at "ground zero" he found the cure. He was the "last man on earth" he battled the infected humans (not zombies) but himslef. He stayed alive and active even though he was the "last man" alive. He was legend. He found a way to save the world, and that is what mattered, which is why i thought the ending was good. Even though he died, what he did as he died was saved the human race. If he didnt do that, the dark seekers would have gotten all 3 of them and cure would have been lost.... i thought it was good...

See in the book "he was legend" because he was to the Night Stalkers a legend. He was one man different from everyone else left and he was killing them left and right attacking them and hunting them. In the book they are intelligent and in some aspects a different eveolution of the human race after a world changing event. He was now the "odd man out" and he became a Legen to them because of it. I won't spoil how it ends, but I wish the movie would have followed the book.

i thought the movie was fairly decent...not the greatest will smith movie but still a good movie...the part i hated the most was him having to kill is dog....i was so freakin mad...then he blows himself up at the end figured he would save the world with the cure and live a happy life afterwards...lol...but still it was a good movie
