Since when does comments about the GT500 apply to all American cars? I am a GM nut job through and through. I would never bash all American cars, and perhaps these days I should be glad it was Ford and not a Crapoyota. Though a Ford GT would have been much sweeter, no?

Nah nothing like the good sound of the stang. and the new mustangs are just beautiful. how could you no love looking at them?
lol most people bashing american cars are driving POS imports so i did assume you were one of them. MY BAD! But you did call that well crafted finely tuned machine GT-500 a POS!!!!

Not looking at them? They scream 'boy-racer.' There isn't anything sophisticated about their looks, everything is 'tacked on'.
That is throwing the term 'finely tuned machine' around pretty hard. They mugged the motor from the GT, then had to work like dogs to get just 500hp out of a blown V8. While GM is getting over 620hp in a car that weighs 800lbs less. They did very little to the Mustang chassis and the penalty is all that weight. A 05/06 Pontiac GTO has the same 1/4 mile figures as the GT500.

While I would not coin it a POS the GT-500 is a good strait line car or a saturday night cruise the strip car . Chicks dig it because the pricetag says this guys got money . The GT-500 is also a name most can identify and think high performance . Sadly though I would take a salen or rousch over a gt-500.
In all honesty this would have been a good platform to bump the dodge/chrysler image in the public forum . It would have been a real boost to see the challanger in there . Or again same sinario with the new Z-28 .

I don't know, I'd take my Tacoma everyday of the week versus any current F-150, unless the were highly modifiend or something.

Cool?
And I'd take a Silverado/Sierra over any of them. Just glad to Ford instead. I already get enough of yota commercials during nascar...
