At this moment...as I sit here at my desk at work...as the tears again roll down my cheeks, my heart breaks....BUT I also see that you have a remarkable family Henry....For that...I am happy for you. Keep eachother close and in your hearts, believe me, what you have with your wife and 2 children is a gift that many take for granted, and others never get to experience.

What's with Pizza places. I was the night Manager at 19 years old and robbed at gun point many years ago. They eventually got the guy, he robbed 25 places in the Seattle area, he is still in prison now 16 years later.

The good that has come from this is we have an endowed scholarship in Justin's name for kids that want to go on to college in the police sciences or criminal justice fields after graduating high school.
We are also funding a program called the Justin Mello kid print program. We have purchased equipment, software, and supplies to create I.D. cards and do all of the local schools from preschool through 6th grade every year for no cost to the parents. Here is a little information on them.
We wanted to give back to the commuity for the support they gave us through all of this.

Sorry just doesn't seem enough but at the same time what else can someone say? Your family is amazing. I've sat here reading your son's story crying and thinking I need to hug my children and I can never let them out of this house. Your wife statement is too amazing. How she can keep God in her heart is something I couldn't imagine at a time like that. Again I am so sorry and wish there was something more I could add. I will be thinking about you, your family, and son today.

I truely believe that. I have been through things (nothing like yours) and people say "how did you handle that.....????" It comes from somewhere and I don't think we know its there until we need to call upon it.
I also believe some people can draw upon that and some cannot.
