can you guys email your pics. For some reason, the computer I'm on is able to open up the pics on SWF.com. My tank has had worms too, and I'd like to see which ones you're talking about. Thanks

Wow. I always thought they were bigger bristle worms. I have seen these plenty of times. They come out during feeding time. Will be taking them out from now on.
I love this site!

Well I know they always go after the seaweed for the Tang. I turned the rock over and found 3 of them.
They are now in the St. Pete sewer. Hope I catch more tomorrow.

Those are not Bearded Fireworms. The one you are picturing are beneficial scavengers. I wouldn't remove them.

Big bummer.
They looked like that one that is in that cup kalied20 has. What is the difference between the bearded and the regular fireworms that I murdered last night?

So the ones that have the fluffy spines on just the sides are the good ones. That means that one in that coffee cup is a good one and the one that aquaguy24 has is a bad one. Right?

There are many that look very similar so your generalization is too broad.
Predatory Bristleworms are uncommon enough to consider them all innocent until proven otherwise.
