Hi so I have had a 20 gal display 10gal refugium going for 3 months now. All levels are at 0 and 8.2ph 1.025 sg. There is about 27 lb live rock and a 2.5 live sand bed. With a diy protein skimer. Doing very well. ;-). Any ways I have some growth on one of my live rocks it's spreading fast and I have had no luck in ID'ing it. I did have a glass anemone when I first set the live rock up. But that was killed by removing the rock and salt and lemon the anemone. And it looks nothing like a glass anemone. So hope i get some answers thank you all for looking. :)

Hi,

LOL...I don't know what that is...but it is NOT the pest glass anemones AKA Aptasia.

I was afraid of that. Do you think they are the bad kind. Or are all hydro id bad? Thank you both by the way.

It's finding food if it's spreading. This will take food away from corals and other micro-zooplankton feeders. If it were me I would start using a turkey baster to squirt the colony with boiling water.
