My parents bought this piece a long time ago on one of there trips they dont remember which island they bought it at. but i have been meaning to find out if it is a coral or turnicate? i would love to find out what it looked like when it was alive so any help would be great thank you!

Isn't it barnacles????

those are a type of Acorn barnacle...I have a few of them in my small tank that I collected on a dive trip

thanks for the replys and yes meowzer your correct i wasnt thinking right when i typred that just wasnt sure if it was a type of barnicle or coral. ive only seen this piece once and thats at my parents house. and havent really done much research on barnicles but now i have the name so off to do some reading and research thanks guys!!
