its a sgt major.
1 he is ugly, steals most of the food from my clowns. he is starting to act more aggressive...He already started with the butterfly..swam over and fanned it in the face with its tail...If I dont catch him soon..I am going to try the

[hr]
approach

well for the green spotted mandarin would be ok..IF you have it setup for a long time with alot of rocks to have a LARGE copepod population. The sixline might not work if u want the dragon..Since they will eat the pods faster probably then the mandarin. I was going to get a mandarin today cause I know I have a TON in there since nothing I have eats them and I see thousandson the back walls..bu I am waiting a few more months to let it grow more to be able to keep it happier.
I dont think the Hippo will work..they get pretty big..and need alot more swimming room. I wanted one but I dont think my 75 is big enough

To give you an idea of their size.
This is a friends tank I went over to take pics of..Its a 220gal...and as you can see how big the Blue hippo is

i neva knew sixline wrasses eat copepods, i feed mine flake. i dont know wut the copepods look like though but my tanks been set for 2 months now. the owner of my lfs said i need to wait at least 6 months. but i plan on keeping my 20 gallon running when i transfer everything into my 55. then im gonna have the dragonette in ther by itself with the coral n rock thats in ther now, and all the fish that are currently in ther will go to the 55. would that work out

thats why they said wait 6months..you have to make sure your pod population is up big time..you cant see the pods to often...they are super small. I am pretty sure sixline wil pick at the rocks and eat pods as well. If its full on flake then it might not.
I dont think a 20g is large enough even with stacked rocks..there just wouldnt be enough. Thats why they say bigger tanks for mandarins..need ALOT of rock for a LARGE pod population so it wont starve to death.

its seems to be doing both flake and picking at rocks. but would that system work if i transfer him to my 55 and got the dragonette for the 20.

I dont think 20 is large enough as in having enough rocks.
I got about 70lb of rock in my 75gal...I am thinking of adding another 15-20lb to make sure I have enough to support the pods it needs

ok, and i understand wut u r talkin about for adding the hippo tangs. but ur friends seems like its close to 10"! the ones im looking at are not even 1", but i no they'll get big for a 55 eventually, it mite not be for a few years though. wut kind of tang would u recomend for a 55, maybe a kole. i dont like yellow tangs that much.
