I got rid of some spaghetti that has been accumulating under my tank.

I finally got tired of seeing a mess of wires when I opened the doors, so I put an end to it.
I didn't realize just how many power strips I had under there.

Here's how it went...

Looks great! I should really do this for my system as well....the underside of my tank looks as tangled and twisted as Cthulhu's tentacles.

Some of my drip loops had been rendered useless from shuffling stuff around. Mounting the receptacles up high forces anything plugged in to it to have a natural drip loop. I've been meaning to do this for years, now. I am going to replace that timer with a more outlet friendly unit later so I can separate my actinics and daylights again. My new T-5 fixture only has 1 switch/cord. I'll add another fixture so I can run actinics in one and daylights in the other. I seem to be spending more time on my tank lately.
I was getting a little bored with it.

Now if you could only get someone to dust under the aquarium you would be all set.

Actually, my wife and I are spending the day cleaning the house....and I am taking breaks playing on the interwebs.
