I HATE HERMITS!!!!!!

I am SOOO SICK of Hermits......I am always buying more snails....because mine disappear....of course
A long time ago I bought some DWARF hermits....well they are now the size of golfballs
I just put a few large turbo snails in there...and 3 times I pulled the same freakin hermit off
WELL now it is in the sump!!!!! and for now on when I see one of these GIANT dwarfs....they are going in the sump too....SOOOOO IF anyone wants giant dwarf hermits
LET ME KNOW!!!!!!

LOL....I have now decided that ALL HERMITS are going in the sump.....So far I have 4 in there....they are wearing a cerith shell, nerite shell, fancy nassarius shall, and turbo snail shell...and I can gaurantee you that NONE of them came with those outfits on.....
I swear my 225G looks like a graveyard for snails
....the only ones I have never seen bother a snail are the red scarlet hermits

AND ANOTHER THING!!! I'm also banishing the little guys to the sump....and then I am gonna clean out ALL the empty snail shells :(

LOL...I'm just venting Snake....I really am tired and am now fed up with losses.....I spend so much on these things to help the tank...and then the other "help" eat them

have u tried crab and lobster pellets? I feed em to my tanks every so often...i havent seen any aggression from mine or my emeralds...they love the pellets...the shrimp too!

BELIEVE ME......My tanks are very well fed.....they just like escargot I guess

Never had an issue with an emerald....I love my emeralds :) these are the blue legged and the zebra dwarf (NOT) hermits

I hate to say this but I kind of laughed when I read this post - NONE of them came with those outfits.....:rotfl: have you tried putting empty shells in the tank so they don't go after your snails? We did with ours and I've now had 2 change without harming the snails.

usually the small ones are blue legs, red legs, and the white ones with blue eyes!
Those are the smallest ones...
I do have some more med ones though...dont know wat they call em!

have you tried putting empty shells in the tank so they don't go after your snails? We did with ours and I've now had 2 change without harming the snails.
LOl...I have so many empty shells...my tank literally looks like a snail graveyard...really....PLUS I feed the tanks VERY well.....and I often stick feed the "critters" there is no reason except absolute MALICE for these crabs to go adter the snails.....I swear, they wait in the shadows as I add them,...then they POUNCE on them :(

i have a blue leg that is in a turbo shell...and the dwarf zebras are the striped looking ones....they are in everything else..they really like the conch and fancy nassarius shells

LOl...I got a few in there tonight....I know there are more though....BUT I WILL GET THEM!!!!!
as I said earlier.,.....I am also gonna clean up all the empty shells.....IDK what's in there (snails) anymore

The Falco or Red Spotted should do the trick!
Some of the hermits didn't even get a chance to hit the sand before my Golden Hawkfish took care of them, hehe....
