I have a mean fish!!

LOL...everytime someone posts about a mean damsel or chromis I am always like...hmmm...mine are nice...WELLLLLL GUESS WHAT!!!
I have 2 MEAN 3 spot damsels...they don't really mess with any of the other fish, BUT they bit me

...then I was using the glass magnet, and they head butted it

...then I had my "claw" (to reach bottem) and they attacked that

WOW...they seem to be going after the hand that feeds them...literally

Maybe they are nice and your looking at it the wrong way? Did you ever stop to think that the damsels might be trying to clean the dead skin off your hands like those fish in the Japanese spa treatments?

I am NOT touching those monsters

...they were out for blood I tell you!!!!...I am very glad they have no teeth

My clownfish bite me often. They have drawn blood before. I was about to post a pic of one of my more recent encounters, but I just realized it is all healed up now. Silly fish. Wear gloves, no joke. They won't stop and yes, they CAN hurt you.

my two Clown fish attack me when i put my hand in the tank. i just keep pushing them away but they keep coming back.

Clownfish have small flattened teeth on the jawline that are used for capturing prey. Their food then goes past the tongue where there is another set of teeth that are used for crushing and cutting the prey. This set is mounted on the same bones that support the gills. Did you think that these fish just swaller and poop their food? They have to chew it up somehow you know.
They don't really chew with their teeth on the jawline from what I understand, but I guess they are able to bite with them.
