Somehow I feel this post was made just to get an angry response. If you feel the need to hunt thats great - go sit in a tree and freeze your &*^%$ off all day while waiting for an innocent creature who is merely looking for a bite to eat to come by and blow its head off. If that makes you feel like a man than do it and feel tough about it. We wouldn't need "animal control" if there weren't an overpopulation of people - especially greedy ones who need a 24 bedroom home where they level about 100acres of land to get it. This is why there are deer running around in your yards and eating your gardens and getting hit in the roads. IT USED TO BE THEIR HOME! Its not a difficult concept to understand.

DMAP...ist how deer populations in the US are CONTROLLED..They establish deer populations and help set the limit for seasons and such...I would think that if you didnt like to kill animals even for eating them you would have a problem putting a fish in a tank, no matte what size

First of all, let me say that I am not saying anything out of anger or indignation. I'm just sharing some thoughts from me, a young teenager with a year's supply of venison in his freezer.
I know that you weren't talking to me, K-ROK.
Animals were put here for man's use and enjoyment. Whether a person cares for animals or not, it's his personal preference.
I love animals. Otherwise, I might eat my big juicy-looking maroon clownfish.

But I don't think that it should be mandatory for people to leave them and their homes alone. I do think, however, that people should be aware of the natural consequences.
We actually don't need animal control. The only thing that they do that is really necessary is removing dead animals from the road.
And getting rid of beasts!

The fish aren't being abused or in pain like you do when you fire an arrow or a bullet into a deer and it runs for its life before bleeding to death.
I would much rather me get these fish than some idiot who is going to try to put "Nemo" in with their Betta.
I care for all of my pets, and don't ANY of you EVER suggest that I do otherwise. THIS is why I left this forum in the first place. I wish I could say what I really wanted to say to you, watson. But thanks for singling me out.

Well, since you enjoying being juvenile and name-calling like a first grader, I will explain it to you as such, and then I am done with this topic.
See, 'watson', I don't like to think that something actually has the chance to run away after it has been struck to die.
In slaughter houses (that's where they kill the animals for your num nums), it is done as quickly and humanely as possible (but it is still quite sad).
You asked me if I am a vegetarian, and yes, for the most part I am.
Beef hurts my tummy and I cannot thoroughly digest it.
Pork doesn't taste good.
When chicken is cooked the way I like it, I will pick at it.
I went on a full-vegetarian run last year and I had to go to the hospital and see my doctor after about a month. I HAVE to eat meat about once or twice a month so I don't like... die or anything.
And yes, the world IS a cruel place, but that is why I have to try and help what I can. I believe everything deserves to have as great of a life as I have. It's not fair that I get to be happy and have things that I want and not necessarily need.
Just because I don't want things to die doesn't make me a freak. Oh, excuse me, a 'hippie' as you call me. Well, I've got a couple of names for you too, darling, but I will be the mature one and step down.

WOW DID STIR THE HORNETS NEST!! First of all let me mention that the deer I hit I slammed on my brakes with a tote full of sand and saltwater knowing that this was going to get all over me. As far as the deer She was ok. I could not have been doing 10mph when I hit her. It hardly left a dent in my car. (about 1-2 inches). As far as hunting goes well I CHOOSE not to. I have tried to deer hunt (had a large buck in my scope and choose not to pull the trigger and never been hunting since (15 years ago) but it is our right as AMERICANS to have guns and hunt so if you choose to do this that is your right and nothing against this. My cousin was killed on Christmas day 1995 hitting a deer on the way to the family christmas. Still to this day I choose not to hunt; however, I would rather see an innocent deer die (hunting) than an innocent person driving there car (my cousin choose not to hunt) and be killed hitting a deer. If people have a problem with guns and hunting may I make a suggestion MOVE TO A COUNTRY THAT HAS GUN CONTROL (LIKE MAYBE IRAQ) I bet your opionion on gun control will change. Oh may I also mention that I have worked for six months at kill plant. 150,000 hogs a day are killed there and let me tell you that it is not humane the way they do it is COST EFFECTIVE!! SO HIPPIE ROLL THIS POST IN YOUR ZIG ZAGS and SMOKE IT. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT
