I just don't get how this guy might be the next leader of the Free World

If you and journey have anything to do with it, you're probably right. The deal is that no matter what you say at this stage of the election, you're not going to change anyone's mind on how thy're going to vote. So why continue to bring up useless fodder like this? Does it make you feel good you can trash the guy? Enjoy getting it off your chest I suppose. I know who I voted for, and I KNOW who you're voting for. Just make sure you do vote. I'd hate knowing you canceling out my vote didn't make your day.

The problem is, that there are ALOT of things to trash him about. Some very disturbing things at that.
Ayres...Rezko...ACORN...Jeremiah Wright...Micheal Pfleger...Socialist tendencies...just to name a few of the biggies.
Look, it's no so much about going party line with me on Obama. I honestly thought Hillary would end up doing a better job than Obama. Some of the stuff that this guy has done, and will continue to do, should scare the snot out of you. Why do you think Biden was talking about some kind of major incident within the first 9 months?

Looking forward to my future President Barack Obama.
Any links to that??

cause he's smart... he himself knows the terrorists are hoping to god (or allah, or whoever) that obama wins so that they can launch their next attack.
face it... obama is going to yank the troops the week after he takes oath, so all they gotta do is hang in until he does, then they can regroup and hit us again.

Remember people. We only have 6 more days of the non-stop political threads. Well, probably another 2 or 3 days after the election. Gotta have the threads for the gloaters who won, and the slammers who lost. After that, can we please get back to the important issues:
Bacon
Bacon
And More Bacon....
Seeing as how the political threads are about the only ones you participate in you are going to be lost.
I guess the campaign will have you come back to spin there talking points after Obama take office

What I don't get is the fanaticism at these rallies of Obama. Here in Albuquerque he came through here. There were 45,000 people there and they were acting like it was a rock concert, pushed down the barrier gates and rushed to the stage. re you kidding me? The guy is just speaking, he is not entertaining you and he is definitely not U2 performing or anything like that. I can see supportting your candidate, but going to extreme I am seeing (even at some McCain rallies) is down right ridiculous...
These guys may be the next leader of the free world, but People are acting as if they are witnessing the reunion of the Beatles and Lennon is back from the dead. The rallies are big party........seriously folks.....
Once he's elected are we supposed to call him president or Fuhrer?

Do you guys seriously think anything is going to change the Obamites minds?
You can quote his own words about seeking out Marxist professors and they deny it.
From the time he was old enough to start forming a opinion on things like politics the major influence in his life was a Communist Obama referred to as his father figure and again they deny it
Obama lied about the depth of his relationship with Bill Ayers and they ignore it.
Obama praised Khalidi but they will deny that too
That pig Wright was just a symptom of what is wrong with Obama. I'll bet Obama didn't hear Wrights racists remarks because he was so entranced by his anti American diatribes he didn't notice the rest.

I usually don't chime in on these threads, but I do have to say that whether or not you're an Obama support, you might as well get used to the idea that he'll be president. I'm fairly certain he has it tied up, even if most of the people on the boards here don't support him. And I'm not saying that I support him either, I've just accepted it.

I did think Obama had it wrapped up but things are tightening up. I still think it's over but at least its looking like things are getting interesting. Only hope I see for McCain is that Obama has been oversold with the massive amount of media he's bought and his last minute blitz backfires.

Monk, I think most of us here can agree that he'll more than likely win. Even so, he still has to be watched and held accountable just like any other President. It just amazes me that he is basically untouchable in some eyes.
Heck, you can't even say his middle name without getting told that your being Anti this or that. Friggin' crazy.
I swear, there could be a video come out tomorrow with Obama chopping the heads off little kittens. And he would be forgiven.

I would be patient and still go out and vote.
Many Presidential Elections have turned out differently than what the media or polls would have you believe.Even as recently as "2004"

I stay in the political threads because it's so amusing you right wingers. Tweak you alittle here... tweak you a little there... whatever it takes to make your day.
You want some stuff out of my tanks? I have three. Take anything you want. Think of it as a sympathy gift for your loss.

I'm glad you participate in these debate bionicarm. It wouldn't be fair to have only a one sided debates nor would it be as fun as it is.There is no crying in political debates. So after McCain/Palin get into office I'm personaly going to ask VP Palin to put you first in line for her children with special needs program to get you the care you deserve and need.

The problem is, you believe everything you read. His platform is based on CHANGE. He has justified every claim you theorists have put out on him, and you still don't believe it. I mean, the Ayers and Rezco thing has been beaten to death, and nothing has come from it. How many times do you have to be told? When people come at you with claims against McCain, it's "You don't know what you're talking about. That's just liberal garbage". You think the guy walks around with a halo on his head, and he has no shady past whatsoever. He admitted to being part of the Keating 5 scandal, one of the biggest scams that caused the downfall of the S&L business, and you just brush it off as, "Well he admitted to being involved, and that's good enough for me. At least he admits it". We have an identical economic crisis today, again dealing with banks, and you don't think there's a remote possibility he could do it again? Just tell it like it is - You're a hard core Republican and refuse to believe your party could lose next Tuesday.
Biden's probably referring to the thought that Obama won't make it 9 months because some wacko white supremist will knock him off. That'll probably be his worst fear in the next 4 years.

This is true, we'll see how that goes. I think though that the extra media here in PA has only widened the gap, so I'm not sure. How many days yet?

Oh, absolutely. I agree that things are a tad touchy too, but I'm sure there's also a line that he couldn't cross without major alienation. Though, Clinton crossed a really big line (actually 2, cheating, then lying to congress about it) and he is (or was, before the Hillary campaign) still immensely popular...
