2 hours???? if I could find a good home for it...I'd drive that

I may be starting to look for a home for my ray
She is still growing and I do not want he to ever be unhappy....I am going to call the aquarium in Tulsa (3 hours away) and my notso LFS told me about a college in TX that has purchased some sharks...and he is gonna get me their # so I can see if they may be interested in her....I have no clue how far that may be
BUT she will not go to just anybody either
Good luck Salt.....although it may be easier for you since you are not in such a small area like I am :(

English Eel Pie
A tried and true eel recipe
ENGLISH EEL PIE
Skin, clean, and cut up two large eels. Cook with one tablespoon of butter, half a cup of chopped mushrooms, a tablespoon of chopped parsley, a minced onion, a bay leaf, salt, pepper, the rind of a lemon, a wine glass of Sherry, and a cup of beef stock. Cook until the eels are tender, strain the sauce, and thicken with butter and flour. Line a baking dish with pastry, put the eels in it, and pour the sauce over, with sliced hard boiled eggs on top. Cover with pastry, brush with yolk of egg, and bake for an hour in a moderate oven. Serve either hot or cold.

She'd love it at the Jenks Aquarium. They have tanks dedicated to rays and you could come visit her that way. A guy brought in these massive clams to my LFS and they're going to the aquarium tomorrow.
Whatever you choose for her I'm sure she'll get a wonderful home though.
