yeah I am going to make another batch in the morning and do a water change wednesday. Nitrites went down to 0
Nitrates went to 0
but ammonia is still the same at .50
Any other ideas I should try?

it should just be a quick mini-cycle are there any survivors? you could try ammo-lock too but others may say not too it worked for me before...tobin

where did you buy it? Umm yeah the clownfish is still doing great, Cleaner shrimp, pencil sea urchin, snails and the crab I got. and im not sure about the coral yet. If they open up 2morrow ill leave them in there, but if they dont im just gonna toss them and start over

ok I went there today and got some more live rock, But i didnt lok for any chemicals. So ill go back sometime this week more than likely 2morrow.

best thing is call them at luch and go meet him in the afternoon he will meet with you he just has maintenance customers to work out a time...tobin

no not yet having a nitrate crisis trying to get a handle on before i start adding anything else, other than that i'm ready to start some easy bright wavy thing that don't take over coral...tobin

hmm I was having that and I bought some Phosphate X Remover that you place into the filter and it removes Nitrates. Nitrites. and Phopshates. My Nitrates were at 20 and it cut down to 5 the first night I had it in there

i just put in a jar of kent nitrate sponge yesterday, gonna add another next week, see how that works...tobin

According to you, your tank is 4 months old.
You have an ammonia problem... Specimens are dying and you just added more liverock.

No offense, what are you thinking?

its just 3 lbs one rock nothin not a lot. I went to the lfs store to buy some salt and It was the exact size I needed for my left side of the tank.

i frequent his store he puts water in and double wraps, and it can't be but a 10 minute ride from his store to anywhere in midland i'm sure the rock was cured...tobin

umm he has a few large pieces of rock. about 8-10 inches like 3 pieces. Im not sure if they would be a good piece of bridge rock or not

Rebel, what do you plan to do to get rid of your Ammonia problem? I wouldn't recommend amquel or ammo-lock.
Water changes will keep it down but wont get rid of it completely, hopefully you still have somewhat of a biological filter in there that will take care of the rest.
