I think i kill my reef tank please help 91111!!!!!

I knotice my fish had bad fighting scare so i decicded to addd melafix. Then i notice alll my coral are shinking can somebody please help me. Is melafix safe or what? I AM NOT PANICKING AT ALL ANY ADVICE AND SUGGESTION PLEASE.

which of fish r fighting? if they r fighting, u need to get rid of one of them. adding medication isnt going to help if ur fish continue to fight. adding chemical such as algae reducer or medicine will normally cause corals and inverts to react adversely, depending on the ingredients. according to the medication, it is reef safe, but i dont trust it.

Thanks for the reply i will get rid one of my fish. What about the corals in my tank now. My concern is will MELAFIX kill my corals?

I use melafix when I add new fish and my corals have been just fine
just make sure u do ur water changes on time

Do your corals shiver up like its not doing good?

I was told once that using melafix can mess with oxygen in the tank....not 100% sure about this, but if your corals are still acting odd....I'd plan on doing a good w/c......or 2

My tank has been set up 4/1/10 i am afraid if i do big water changes it might have to go through cycle again.

doing large water change wont cause a cycle. also running carbon helps since it will absorb whatever chemical or bad stuff thats in the water.
