Dry shipped snails have expelled all of the saltwater in them. As long as the your tank has water close to natural seawater salinity they will not be suseptible to osmotic shock.
If they are in a bag of water then they need to be acclimated to the salinity of your tank.
A common acclimation proceedure is to set them on a paper towel for a few hours but they still need to be kept warm.
Another method I use is to stick them in a clean spot on the glass just above the water level. The snails will crawl into the water at their own pace and self-acclimate.
