ID for Red pointy stuff

Im sure its nothing life threatining or anything but I was wondering what exactly these thing are growing on my rocks. I searched the forums but found nothing. So does anyone know?

If its hard it may be a type of branching coraline algae.

If it is, will it get much bigger that that?

If it doesn't have any negative side affects I think it would look cool larger, unless it takes on some grotesque shape.

Hard to tell from the pictures but possibly Foraminiferans? Do they look like this?

The ones in my tank dont look smooth enough to be Foraminiferans, but they might smooth out as they grow so its still a possibility. I will try some more pics tomorrow
