I thought apastia was more or less and anenome in shape, but I'm probably wrong :)

my problem is that there are 3 of them and they appear to move around(this one used to be on a different rock). The guy at the lfs store told me they were ricordia but i thought it was a pretty ugly ricordia if that is what it is. do you know if they spread like aptasia or if I get rid of these 3 will I be done.

Is there any other way to get rid of them. I was just reading that the Copperbanded butterfly eats them. An i was considering getting a new fish. I used to have a copperband and he was cool and dorky, but it was one of my first fish, bad choice and it died. I would be worried that it would pick at the xenia and star polyps too.

Can you take another pic but not so close so it stays in focus? I don't think it's Aiptasia nor Mojano but I can't tell what it is from the picture.

Now it looks like Aiptasia sp.
Touch it with something. If it retreats fast then it's definately Aiptasia.

havent tried to feed it really. what should i look for in feeding? I did the touch test and it didnt really seem all that bothered until i really poked at it and then it went away. I just found a picture of a tulip anemone online and it does look alot like that, but then again i found the pic of the mojo anemone or whatever it was and it looks like that too, i am really confused. I went to the lfs store today and the guy has a bunch of these in his coral tank and he again said it was ricordia(i have ricordia and it really doesnt look like that) and he showed me other aptaisia that he had to try to soothe me, but i am loosing faith in him.

ok clarification please-
About a month or so ago, I posted pics of the same thing and was told by readers here that they were not aptasia, but glass or curly anemones. I have not had a single problem with them. they do move occasionally, but have had no multiplication. I have 2 peppermints in the tank and they casually stroll by them without a sideways glance, and I thought peppermints were their mortal enemy??
