ID needed

Well, after switching my tanks ( 65 gal. cichlid and 20 gal Reef )because of a HORRIBE hair algae attack that killed an acro as big as my head, and a HUGE finger leather.

Anyway, it's shell is shaped like a conch but it is zebra striped. i've looked and looked, but no info. Also sorry I dont have a pic, and i dont have a digital camera.

It hasn't caused any damage so far and never noticed it imy 65 gal.

What color are the strips and the size of the shell, how about shape of shell?
Black and brown stripes with a 1/2 inch shell by chance.

Back/White shell about 1/4 inches

then theres a smaller one about 1/2 of a dime

It's not, ive looked at everything and even the bumble bee, i just got a better look and there is a broken-up pattern like this - - - - - while the rest is solid stripes

does it have a siphon like tube? like a nassarius snails have??
Bumble bee snails are yellow/black

Looks NOTHING like a Nassarius Snail but thanks for the input

Littorina ziczac, periwinkle snail....Just a guess at this point, however could you tell us what the shell is like from looking at the pics in the invert section under snail?

looks nothing like that kinda shell, also its nocturnal

if thats what you have, that pic is of a whelk...

it has ridges on it, like a queen conch (i think thats the one with ridges)
