ID on some Hitch Hikers

Tank has been up & running for 4 days and today I noticed some things growing in my tank. I have a 50g TruVu flat back hex with 60 lbs. of live rock. I haven't seen them in the Hitch Hiker ID. I have what appears to be an urchin, and some seaweed
. Just wondering if they are anything to be worried about. :notsure:

I'm not sure if it moves or not. I don't know? I'll check on it when I get home from work today to see if it's still in the same spot. I'll keep you updated!

Nope. No movement. At least not in the last 24hrs. I'm going to take a photo down to my LFS where I bought the rock it is living on... see if maybe they can id. ***)

The only bad thing about message boards is that you sound snappy when you don't want to.... My original post asks about the urchin thing, I was just trying to clarify my question. Thats all...
Sorry romeofoeve if I offended you in any way. :joy:

oh, lol. no offence taken. i was talking about the pink ball though. because the fooram....'s that i have in my tank have those filamintous hairs on them. if it is hard to the touch it would be a clue to it being one, former....'s are hard. if it is soft or reacts in any way, it could be a coral or a sponge

I'm not touching it!!
My fiance' poked it with the end of the fish net, and it was kinda "squishy"... but can a sponge be pokey like that?
It's not hard like I thought it would be, but it hasn't moved at all.
The Blade plant is doing well. Thriving since I turned on my lights! :hilarious

Let's just call it a "curchin" and be done with it!!!

ALRIGHT!!
Thanks a lot guys! Glad to know that it's not harmful, which is really my only concern. It's the only thing in there that is currently alive.
Thanks again everyone, for all of your input. My mom says it has to have a name, so I think we'll stick with "curchin"...
Have a great weekend all!!! :cheer:
