From that view, looks like a small feather duster. Could also be a small type of anenome. Need a better shot. (I would say feather duster though)

No that is not a feather duster, it could be an anemone but My best bet is it is a small baby brain or plate coral... these are soooo common on Gulf rock and Florida Rock its not even funny!... if its attached to the rock and you can see a skelton its attached to it is, if not then its some type of ... anemone... but My bet is for the coral!

I found something similar in my tank. I'm not sure what mine is. It has a weird round base that is dark in color, and then the clear white tentacles emerging from the middle. I always wanted to know what it was, but I can't get a picture.

Just from the pic I'd guess some type of anenome....doesn't look like a duster at all...possibly some sort of plate coral...long tentacles if it is....I'm stickin' with some sort of anenome.

Looks like Hidden Cup Coral to me.
THANK YOU BANG GUY, WE ARE REALLY THE ONES WHO KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!
This is NOT a feather duster, nor an anemone... I myself have had hundreds of these things on liverock... they are baby corals of some sort... in the developing stage... Once again I say, IF it has a base that is calcium based that is attached to the rock, which btw it is very obveous if it does, since the creature is transparent, then it is INDEED a coral "baby" of some type!
Sorry if I seem a little testy, but you would be to if people were making jokes like
"are you sure your looking inside the black circle" and such...
BANG GUY, could you elaborate a little more on this subject on coral babies on rock....
Thank you!
Hope this helps!
