I agree...not real common to see the red stuff....but its about the same as the green type...can become a problem if allowed to spread un-checked.:thinking:

Thank you for the info.
Is there anything that you know of that eats it, or should I try and get rid of it? I don't know why but it seems to be growing a new little bulb everyday. Everything checks out perfect in my water. I wonder what it is that is making it spread so fast.
I thought they looked kind of pretty and liked them, but then again when I first got into this hobby I thought aiptasia was pretty cool, now that I realize what it is and what it can do I feel VERY different. It's like the plague to me now.
 
I know this reponse is a little late, but I had some good results with an emerald crab. It took him a bit to warm up to it, but after a couple of weeks, he gobbled it up.
