ID please...

I picked this up over the weekend and I'd like to verify...
I was told it is a finger leather coral - It's yellow in color.

Looks to me like a Sinularia, a type of leather coral.

Are there little feathers on the polyps I cant tell?

There are no feathers - just typical polyps with 6 or so tentacles.

probably is sinularia then. Capnella usually looks a little more feathery than that in my (albeit limited) experience.

Are there any differences in nocturnal behavior between the capnella and the sinularia??

I vote either Sinularia, or Colt Coral... I duno, just call the thing a leather and be happy with it LOL!!!!
