I have this strange algea that has taken over a small rock in my aquarium and is starting to spread out to the base sand. I have no idea what it is. it look totally differen than slime or hair algae, heck it's kinda pretty... but what is it?
If it's bad... recomendations on how to get rid of it?

with Bryopsis, you're better off yanking the rock (since it's a small one) and putting it in a dark, covered container of SW until the stuff dies off, then giving the rock a good scrub with a stiff brush. nothing really eats the stuff reliably, and it WILL spread.
