could that be what they call spaghetti worms or maybe peanut worms? I have never seen what these worms look like, only heard people say it...

I have seen those in my LR a few times.

yeah. I love looking into the tank, finding something new and wonder "what is that? where did it come from? Is it friend or foe?"

It resembles a Nemertean, commonly called a Ribbon Worm. No worries, they rarely get longer than 100 feet.

If I ever see something that I don't know what in the world it is, I capture it and keep it in a QT tank until I can ID if it is a good thing or a bad thing. I saw one of the weirdest looking snails that looked more like a worm when it was stretched out so I plucked it out but then found out it was a good guy so back in he went.

nah, I was tempted to pull it out and put it in a jar but I figured It would die in the process. Plus It gives me something to look at.

I had a worm in my aquarium similar to that. It didn't bother anything. It was really fast I use to catch glimpses of it here and there, but I always thought it was cool that whenever I sat down to gaze into my aquarium that there was a possibility that I would see it. It was about six or seven inches long. I enjoyed it and thought it was awesome, but one day my wife caught my red coral banded shrimp with it in its claws as he was eating it.
