It may not do it the first time but yes that is it that will kill it. The real problem here is that since you have two that can be seen in the picture you may have more. They spread like weeds and may have smaller ones growing that you cannot see. When your tank is cycled and ready for some critters you can go and get a peppermint shrimp, make sure you are getting Lysmata wurdemanni and these will normally eat the smaller ones. Any little piece that is left or floats off into the tank will make a new one so don't scrub them off or scrape them.

I used Joe's Juice for my Aiptasia. Worked great. I have no complaints. You should be able to find it on ---- for around 15 bucks.

I would. You want whatever to be targeted, not to go floating around the tank.

I tried to inject and they just shrank up in the rock, I even tried putting putty over the hole it came out of and it still found a way out. so I got a pep. shrimp and two days later gone

This is why I recommended the needle.

i cant get a pep shrimp because i have a flame hawk and itll just eat the shrimp. So i inject it right into the center? Seems tough because itll probably go into the rock right when i touch it

For the first time in years, I found one a few days back on a outcropping of Zoa's.... In years past I had used HOT lemon juice, which worked OK
This time I had none in the fridge, so I resorted to a bit of Kalk. paste in a small tester syringe. Worked like a dream with no loss to the close by Zoas........ A little dab will do ya,
......
.Just like the old commercial for those old enough to remember that one.
