ID this (?) worm

It is growing on the glass in the fuge.....and I would like to find out what it is...also had some growing in my filter...any ideas would be appreciated....thank you

Looks like a sponge of some sort to me...does it have a sort of tubular structure? I have something like that in my system...smaller....and not so extensive....:thinking:
