Sure looks like a healthy hydnophora to me...

Thanks for the help......the polyps on it are fuzzy and quite long. They move in the water flow like grass would. Do you still think it's a hydnophora? I think the guy who gave it to me called it a "cat's paw" but I have no idea what that is......is that another name for hydnophora? TIA

If by cats paw you mean stylophora pistillata, I'd say no.

I'm sure it's not a Hydnophora. However, It does indeed look like a Pavona.

Looks like Erythropodium to me but any of the above answers could be correct.
Can you "tick it off" and then take a pic of it retracted?

I blew on the coral with a turkey baster and the polyps retracted......here's a pic

I would have said hydno too, but with this pic it looks like a pavona.
But what do I know?
