So, not only did I get an asterina star on my gsp, but now I have this crazy looking snail and a zoa spider? on my zoas. I am not sure what kind of snail this is.
Possibly a Heliacus?

ugly thing was latched onto my zoas.

I did FW dip them.

all have been tossed. I didn't see any eggs or anything on them.

as soon as I turned the lights out that little spider came crawling out. I almost peed my pants. Once they were all closed up, I could see the snail also. Weird I didn't see them when I FW dipped them.

Lugol's basically is iodine. Buy whichever is cheaper

Yes. You're lucky.
How long do they dip for and what are they using? Most dips need some time to actually work.

Just iodine. I rarely FW dip unless I'm out of Lugol's.
It depends on what you get and what the directions say. Usually it's like 15mins or so. Lately the LFS has only had the SeaChem iodine and they say 5-10 minutes depending on severity.

Just follow the directions carefully, each brand is a little different.

Thanks, my LFS sucks. They never have anything. So I just got an Iodine dip made my Kent. The other brand they had was made by API.

Kent makes more than one iodine dip. If it's the Lugol's one, it will clearly say "Lugol's" on the front of it. They're all similar.
