How big is long is your 125?? AW2 had his Dragon in a 90 gallon tank AND with a Whitemouth moray. IMO you could do it, but it is up to you.

Ya that's who I was thinking of. I think I may do it, if not then I'll upgrade to a 180g if I feel that it is getting to big for it. The deminsions are 6'x1.5'x20?".

That tank size is overblown IMO. It won't get over 3 feet and if it does it won't be for a long time. I have AW's whitemouth now in a 150 which is the same size as your tank only taller. It is fine at about 3 feet. I have a 20 hdme in a 75 gallon for now and it is fine also. Lots of rock.

Alright. My dad won't let me get it now but I believe the seller can get them later so I asked if he'd have any in 5 months. Great deal and awesome fish.

why spend 450 plus shipping on an eel when you can save that 450 for a tank that can house these fish for life?

Well because it would cost 1000$ to get a 180g. Plus again I will have only another 4-3 years with it. And I hope to get a big tank after college.

For some reason, crosshatches seem to do quite well in pairs; I've seen a good online source that sells them that way and have read a few positive comments.

The crosshatch's? I've seen a rare fish place that sells a pair of crosshatch's for 450$. But I just checked and they don't have them anymore. But they do have a dragon moray pair for 1800$.
But I think becuase of all this contoversy whether the eel is too big or fine in a 125g, and since I realy don't want to upgrade, I'll stick with some snowflakes and zebras.

Well I was thinking for my equipement upgrade for the 125g(since it's going to be an aggressive with messy eaters) to get the following:
-SeaClone 150 Skimmer
-Grounding Probe(of course)
-UV Sterlizer(Suggestions?
)
-I have 2 Penguin BioWheel Powerfilters I was thinking of getting rid of and getting a big canister filter? Suggestions?

-I'm going to keep my 72" PC's
What do you guys think?

There was this eel I saw like a week ago at a junky fish store in Del City, OK that had an eel that looked just like a dragon moray shape, but I wasn't sure of it's coloration. I think I"m going to go check it out tomorrow. It'd be cool if it was a dragon eel and they didn't know it and that'd be sweet if it was super cheap. Again, I'm not sure what kind it is. Is there any other eel that looks like a japenese or hawiian dragon but has different coloration?

Well if I don't do a hawaiian dragon, then I'll stick with an easy eel like the snowflake till I'm out of college and setup my large aggressive tank up.

yeah the Muraena melanotis (Brazilian horned moray eel) looks pretty similar. 100 bucks woould be a nive price not over 200. I think if u look on the net you will find one for sale right now for like 130.

Ya a cool eel for sure. If you don't mind and if they have that in a month I may reconsider. That's a great site because most things don't go to quickly.
