Im sure there is lots of work but the problem is that most folks on this board dont live in Connecticut so Im thinking you might have to advertise locally to get the most coverage. Id ask your folks if they know any friends you could babysit for. You could also post advertisements on the bulletin boards at local churches also. Phrase it just like you did here.

Walk dogs too, I just walk over to the "richer" naighborhoods, they are too lazy to walk their dogs, and they pay me good $$. Just walk them let them do their beusiness, play with them a little and return em.

Aw! It's so cool that you're wanting to work for your aquarium. The only reason I have a job is so that I can support mine... Victoria's Secret doesn't pay enough for my obsession, haha.
What you need to do, or at least what I think, is get in good with a SW guru. You said you've learned quite a bit already, which is fantastic! I have a friend who makes a LOT of money CLEANING people's SW tanks! She says that she gets paid more doing that than she does working at *****. People trust you if you want to work to support a good, healthy hobby! I would totally hire you, but I live in Alabama... Go to your local pet/fish store and check it out! Learn things from reputable SW hobbyists, I know you can do it.
Another way, I'm sure you've tried this already, but ask family members and friends of the family if they need a worker. I work around my auntie and uncle's house and usually get $40 - $50 a pop. It never hurts to ask! ^_^

why the f uck are you gettin pissed off about some people makin a livin to feed a family
sayn they are just mexicans makes it sound like u dont like them or somethin try keepin ur mouth shut next time when they have a job and u dont know what its like comin from a mexican person thats gon thru all that s hit with the immigration and stuff like that
just lettin you all know im mexican soo next time have a little more respect

ok well first off dont say cuswords on this message board. And yes that was wrong but 2 wrongs dont make a right so you should show respect before saying all of that. and you say to have respect thats sad. Oh and by the way he is only 15 so dont talk like that

I'M 16 AND IVE BEEN WORKING SINCE I WAS 11. I STARTED OUT HELPING MY MOM AT HER JOB. AND GUESS WHAT IT'S THE FLEA MARKET. THEN I GOT A JOB AS A LUMPER. I WOULD UNLOAD THOSE BIG TRAILERS WITH HOME ******** BOXES INSIDE ALL BY MYSELF. IT WOULD TAKE ME AROUND 5 HOURS BUT I WOULD DO IT. I WOULD GET TO WORK AT 6 IN THE MORNING AND LEAVE AROUND 8 THROUGH TEN AT NIGHT.
Now I work as a dish installer. I work for 3 different stores in the area. So i'm busy everyday. thats what I have to do to keep my tank stable. I get paid good too. $100 per installation that only takes from 2 hours to 5 hours max. And I have at least one everyday. So I guess I'm lucky.
I've worked hard for my tank. and I think you should too unless you have rich white dumb@ss parents.

And your 16 and your already talking like this. Respect is the key word for you. and if you were so busy how do you have time to post in the midle of the day when you are supposely working.

I know I was rude and I apologize. Does it really matter the way I talk. If you don't care about my business don't read it. It's that simple. By the way I'm at the store that I work for and they have a clearwire service computer that is available to the customers. so thats why I could post.
What are you sorry about. Not like i'm complaining or anything. I do what i do because I want to, not because someone makes me.

You see there's the problem. you don't have any kids. I know I don't have kids either but the fact of the matter is, that the majority of the teenagers talk this way. They might say a bad word here and there but bad words are bad words and you just can't escape them even if you did have kids.
I think it is inevitable to delete the curse language in all kids/teenagers, with all the music thats around. I know because I like most of that music. Only because you don't hear you children curse in front of you that doesn't mean that they don't curse at all.
