Bio - check -- sales. There is a guy there selling a BK400! It is the sweetest skimmer I have ever seen.
Also for lights, you are going to need 400W halides because of the depth.
More Pictures PLZ that is an amafing tank with water in it alone it will weigh 5,880 pounds and with alteats 800 pounds of rouck you do the math thatst alot.
Really truly amazing!! That is going to be incredible once it gets done!!!!! I am so excited for you. Have you thought about how you are going to have it cleaned or if you are going to hire someone to do it?

I ended up going with the Reeflo orca 250 as my other skimmer. I've read lots of good things about it. As for lighting, I'm probably going to go with 8x48" vho's. Halides would be nice, but I don't need them considering it's not going to be a reef. I'm just trying to keep power consumption down as much as I can. I'll see how the vho's look and go from there.

Thanks, I'm excited too! As for cleaning, I'll be doing that. Hopefully I can get in there without having to cut a section out of my ceiling. I'll just have to wait and see...

Great choice on skimmer. You will love it. Mine has been a dream.
OMG That would be my dream tank! No suggestions...wouldn't want my advice anyway lol, but wanted to wish you luck with it. That's going to be so much fun to work with!
Wow, this is getting expensive fast! I've spent over $3000.00 on skimmers, $540.00 on sand, $300.00 on extra live rock, over 300.00 on plumbing, and over $300.00 on misc. stuff. Hope it's worth it...
