SO!!!!!! I'VE BEEN BUSY!
My old college has bought out the technical school that I was going to go to school at. Because my old college bought it out, their policies changed and instead of just paying the tuition fees to get into the technical college, I owed a lot of money back to my old college before I could even enroll or register at their sister school / tech college. WELL...
I figured, if I had to pay back the fees at my old college to get into my technical college, why don't I just pay my fees and go back to the college that I have already put in almost four years at and get a bachelors degree instead of a technical degree? So, I paid my dues, enrolled back at the university and I am changing my major to biology education and sticking with it this time. I had 1.5 years for an HVAC degree, but I only have 2 years in this major - all biology and teaching classes - and I will be making a little more money right off the bat. ITS NOT ABOUT THE SALARY...
I love teaching. In fact, I was a Social Studies Education major before I dropped out at the university. I was going to be a History teacher. But, since I love Biology so much and have the opportunity to go back to school for something that I *really* enjoy (and is in the A/C), I feel like I needed to take the opportunity to go back to the university and complete my Bachelors.
So... WOOHOO!!! I'm back at the UNIVERSITY!
