I'm sorry to hear bout your fish!
I found one like that by my dad aquarium once. It was a zebra goby, and he was dried out and everything, and I peeled him of the carpet and just joking around, I held him back in the water and kind of slowly rocked him back and forth like I was getting water through his gills and told dad I was going to save him (just joking of course) and all of a sudden he kicked! So I kept doing it and he actually survived!!! He was never the same, but he lived for a long time after that! It was quite amazing!

Wow! that is an amazing story... saltwater fish do look dead many times when they can make it. SWF.com even says acclimate even if it looks dead on arrival.
Now our poor sad friend is going to think they killed it tossing it out.
So very sorry for your loss. I am sure all dried out and crispy, it was really gone.

your orange spotted goby sifted?
I love my orange spotted goby, but to him sand is lava lol, he hands out on the rocks all day.
Sorry for your loss. I don't know what I would do if mine jumped. One time he jumped into my sleeve, but he's okay now

Sorry to hear about that. I'm the same boat as you are, my Jawfish decided to become a jumper 2 days ago. He was able to make it through a small hole in the top-back of my tank that's not covered and it's only a 2" hole

It sucks mostly because when I checked up on my tank every morning, he was the first one that I looked at and now he's not there anymore
